  I think Christmas is totally.....

  for the kids:-.

  so yesterday in accordance with my boys wish, we put the christmas tree and decorations up.

  ridiculously early i know, but it made him happy, and even i found decorating the tree fun.. the rebel..

  A question about fading....

  i understand that many on this forum are undertaking a slow fade, over months, years even.. can i ask what is the benefit of that instead of a fast fade?.

  as i understand it, the elders only have to deal judicially with people who are still active witnesses, known in the community as witnesses, having contact and influence with witnesses etc.

  so surely the sooner you stop attending meetings the better.

  Oh, yeah I forgot. Like I mentioned fading takes planning, it can be very hard work.

  A ''quick fade'' may be possible if you have no real family in the Borg. A ''quick fade'' may be possible too for a newly reinstated person who had been DF'd for a bit.

  With immediate family in the Borg, well, I'm afraid it takes longer. Can be a lot longer in a lot of cases. It depends too also on how ''involved'' your immediate family is in the Borg. If your immediately family includes someone like your dad being an elder, it will take a lot longer to ''fade'', unfortunately. It all takes time, patience and hard work(mental planning)

  Good luck with your fade. It has taken me years, if not decades to wiggle-out of the control group. Yes, I've said it decades!! It starts ever slow, then you do less and less as months, years go by. People just say ahh, '''Beth Sarim'' won't be here, I'm not surprised!!

  Shunning is terrorizing, it is barbaric. It is control mechanism of a high control group. Unquestioning obedience or you are summoned for judicial committee for apostasy. Shunning is a control mechanism to keep the rank and file under their control.

  come to think of it, there are so many parallels to the New World Order of the Illuminati and the New World Order of the WT. You keep hearing the Dubs say ''New World Oder'' when they are about, I remember hearing it at the KH over the years and even in field service. Could the two be connected? Interesting.

  faithful and always so very discrete in many things but when it comes to the lord's money not so good.. i think as it begins to register in their minds as to what a terrible job they have done as ceos of a large corporation leading it into this condition that thoughts of suicide come from.

  not to mention the shame at being a public spetical to the world by the rc.

  all these things and more are creeping through their denial as they are forced to face reality.

  Fading is like an art form. Each situation is different. Fading is dependant on various factors like family, how involved is someone, things like these.

  Yes, it can take years, perhaps even decades to ''fade'' out, for the sake of keeping loved ones.
